      Founded on principles established during my time at Loyola University Chicago (LUC), our focus lies at the intersection of education, technology, and psychology, particularly within the field of chemistry education. Our research delves into critical areas such as the affective dimensions of learning, instructional interactivity, and the integration of technology, culminating in significant contributions like the co-edited book "Affective Dimensions in Chemistry Education."

      As a science teacher at Chicago Public Schools, I emphasize inquiry-based, student-centered learning to foster curiosity and engagement in chemistry and biology. Simultaneously, as an instructor at Wheeling University, I deliver dynamic online organic chemistry courses, empowering students to master foundational concepts in a virtual environment.

      Beyond teaching, we develop innovative tools and resources—such as diagnostic assessments and graphical representations—to enhance conceptual understanding and promote equitable learning. Through international collaborations, conference presentations, and projects like EU-funded initiatives, our work contributes to global education reform.
